In the past there has been news of seeing Jesus in many different places or objects. Some are odder than others such as seeing his image in a fish stick or on the back of a kitten. Some are more broad like in a rock or on the bark of a tree. However, the most creative one I have seen was on the wings of a moth in Texas, that definitely beats the "Jesus in the oil spill" from last year. People say that they can see his hair, eyes and a slit for his mouth. Some people even say that when the wings move its like Jesus talking. However, Brother Jordan from the Emmanuel Baptist Church says that although the back of the moth does in fact resemble Jesus, he doesn't want to "bow down to it". He says, "It's not Jesus, it's just something God created". The members of the church are now holding the moth in their church and will be auctioning it off.
I think that this whole "I see Jesus in that tree, rock, or moth " phenomenon is abnormal and unusual. I do not really think that you can merely see Jesus in an inadament object. I think that Jesus is more than that. He is not just going to show up in an oil spill to "send a message" to us. I agree with Brother Jordan in the sense that we should not start to "bow down" to any of these objects.
